Nilkanth Heights

A sample house for a housing project done by our practice, the project aims at illustrating a simple living with colorful hues that brightens up the space. In an open plan where the boundary between living, dining and kitchen are blurred, we created a wooden partition to separate spaces in order make it user specific, which becomes important sometimes to protect the privacy of house members. The modular sofa can be configured in endless iterations and the possibilities are endless with a light backdrop with only modern-day cushion covers adding the tint. Vibrant colorful painting laid vertically in the wall behind the dining area creates the illusion of higher ceilings. In the bedrooms, paintings add zest to a simply designed room with soothing neutral hues. We love the idea of printed fabric on chairs in the balcony too!
